A dynamic celebration of music, rich in jazz, Latin, blues, and creative music, in a dazzling series of concerts, workshops, and after-hours sessions with world-class artists, and showcasing some of the next generation of stars. All-time great and legendary jazz saxophonist Charles McPherson, Grammy nominated and daring jazz singer and composer Carla Cook, former Jazz Messenger Jean Toussaint, New York piano giant Bruce Barth, choral magician Pete Churchill, multi-instrumentalist Percy Pursglove and illustrious musician/composer Perico Sambeat are some of the artists who will star in the 2019 festivities, along with some of the best Catalan and European artists in the 2019 edition, along with some of the best Catalan and European artists. The spectacular setting, the team of outstanding artists and teachers and the varied schedule of activities add up to an unforgettable experience for all those who participate.

Intensive studies 5 hours of daily classes, including supervised rehearsals, instrumental and vocal classes, group workshops and ensemble sessions.
Free admission to all concerts offered by faculty members and guest artists.
A stimulating program of activities to develop musical skills and concentration: choir, samba, pulse training, ear training, coordination and movement and flamenco for jazz musicians.
Located in the heart of the most vital, historical and cultural district of Barcelona, in the iconic place of the Jamboree Jazz and Dance Club.

After Hours Jam Sessions

Hosted by one of the faculty each night and with other guests dropping in to play, it's what the "hang" is all about. They bring together the community of jazz artists who come for the camaraderie, spontaneity and sometimes to test and prove themselves.

Jam sessions are the heart of after-hours jazz and are key to maintaining the jazz scene’s social fabric. They bring together the community of jazz artists who come for the camaraderie, spontaneity and sometimes to test and prove themselves. These events can be full of surprises, with different combinations of musicians on stage that might not normally happen at a planned event. Often important musical connections are made and all takes place in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Festival Pass Jazz Holidays

For a truly amazing holiday in one of Europe's most beautiful and historical coastal cities.

Allows you free entry every night to all the concerts during the GMF '19 week at the Jamboree Jazz Club, as well as after hours jam sessions during the week. Also free entry to a session of Flamenco in the famous Los Tarantos Flamenco Club.

For people who are only interested in attending the concerts, they can simply buy tickets for individual concerts
